Self-Talk Sidekick · Last updated: July 3, 2026
Self-Talk Sidekick is designed to work fully offline. We do not operate servers that collect your personal data, and we do not require an account.
All profile information, self-talk scripts, session history, journal entries, streaks, badges, and settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite (or in-memory storage on web). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or health records. There is no third-party tracking SDK in this app.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permission is requested through your operating system. We do not send push notifications from a remote server.
Sidekick Lock uses Apple's Screen Time API to shield apps you select until you complete a self-talk rep. App selection uses opaque on-device tokens; we never receive a list of your installed apps.
Self-Talk Sidekick is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
